Here is another set of photos from a property that I recently shot in Mesa, Arizona. This building is called Encore on First. It is much larger than Encore on Farmer and it had many more opportunities to capture interesting photos.
As with the other shoots in this area, I shot straight through sunset and into dusk. The lights on this building and the fountain made a dusk shoot something that I couldn’t go home without.
Because there are only about 15-20 minutes of great light at sunset, I spent a little time before sunset to scope out some shooting locations and make some notes of the locations and composition details so I could quickly move from place to place during the prime lighting window.
Normally I would get 3 to 4 good dusk photos from one session. My pre-planning helped me get many more than that this time.
