The El Paso Passage is a public art piece that includes multicolored LED lights on an underpass near the El Paso Airport. I photographed the project for the Museums and Cultural Affairs Department of the City of El Paso.
Here are some of my favorite photos from this project.
For this shoot I used my Phase One IQ3-100 digital back on my Cambo technical camera. This system provides the highest level of quality in a small and relatively light package.
The technical camera allows me to shift the back relative to the lens – which allows me to keep the camera perfectly level while changing the field of view. This is very helpful for shooting scenes where the point of interest is above or below the camera location.
